Guest guest
Jenn, Like I said, my lactation consultant mentioned that to me when I was having a hard time with my supply. I don't think it would be an issue if you eat it in moderate amounts. Enjoy your ice cream!
Guest guest
For some reason I am thinking that I heard somewhere that breastfeeding women are not supposed to eat black licorice or that it has a chance of messing with milk supply...? Am I out of my mind or is that something that has been mentioned? My dad is visiting and he has some and I ate a couple of pieces and then something just clicked in my head saying not to be eating it... go figure:) Happy Easter Everyone!!! Guest guest
Have you guys seen the reports in the past year that higher estrogen levels increased the memory of patients with senility? I've wondered if this is why they refer to new motherhood as maternal amnesia. Guest guest
Jenn, Unless you are making your own with high quality peppermint oil, I don't think it would pose a problem. Eat up! I love mint chip. Wendi Re: Question about licorice thankyou for all of the info everyone:) Now one of you mentioned mint? this is said to be hinder milk supply? you think mint chip ice cream has enough mint to pose a problem? I have been craving it for some reason and have had it every night practically for a week.. oops! I haven't had any problems yet but I am wondering if maybe i should choose a different ice cream:) jenn ------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you like orange and blue, then you will love our new web site! http://www.onelist.com Onelist: ing connections and information exchange ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Breastfeeding is Best!! http://www.mariaann.com/breastfeeding Remember to Vote in our Weekly Breastfeeding Poll!!
