My dad is 62 on Nov 11 this year. He had quad bypass in 96 and has been going down hill since. About 2 yrs ago, they said his heart was at 15% usage. That has dropped to 3% just recently. He was suppose to be on the list 2 yrs ago, but his dumb doc didn't do all the necessary paperwork then. He never made the list. If he had, then he might have gotten a new heart already. Jerks! Wish we could sue them. My work, these people are trying to aggrivate and discourage me in the hopes I will quit. No such luck! Not happening. I will get my short term disability for now. I have been paying for it for 6 yrs now and I intend to use it. I have also been paying for long term and will step up to that when the time comes. I am going to do all that I can to make sure I don't go back to work for a while. I paid my disability premiums this long for a reason so my

employer will fork it out or I'll have to seek a lawyer. My boss pretty much told me that he would do whatever it takes to make sure his job is secure. Guess that meant screwing over his employees. My hubby also works with me as a GM Master Tech. He has an interview with an elite dealership in the morning. Let's just hope and pray that thier insurance is killer. I believe he will have no problem getting this new job. Of all people, my area service rep is the one that turned us on to this dealership. He is seeing just how bad this current dealership is screwing over it's employees. Things just may be turning around for my family for once. We have never had very good luck in life. That is a broad spectrum, but I'm am totally serious about our bad luck. If it can be bad for us, it usually is. We just need a break and I'm hoping this interview is one that we can use. I will let the group know how it goes! Wish us luck and keep us in your prayers! Love to you all! Tammy, TxSharon Marsden wrote: How old is your father, Tammy? I'm so sorry to hear about his heart problems. I am hopeful that he will surprise everyone and do better than expected. I'm also sorry to hear about your current

exacerbation. What's going on now with your work? Hang in there--we all love you!Sharon This email is a natural hand made product. Bummer Well, with everything that I told you all about my work, I am in the midst of another exacerbation. Been doing the IV steroids all week. Have appt with my Neuro on Monday and gonna ask him to put me on short term disability. It has only been 6 weeks since my last attack and I think I just need some down time to recover. I obviously didn't recover from the last one and I really don't think it ever ended before it flared up again. I just need some me time to relax and get my body and mind back together and I just can't do that with all the stress at work, home and everywhere. On top of it all, my dad's doc put him on the heart transplant list, but told him not to be hopeful about getting a new heart. So he probably has about 6 mos to a year. I have been prepared for this

in thought, but it hit kinda hard when we found out. I just have too much going on in my life and I don't think I'm gonna get through this without eliminating some stress. The only stress I can get rid of quickly for now is work. Cross you fingers and pray my Neuro comes through for me. This flare up was a bad one too! I love you all!
