Donna, I'm very sorry to hear that ny lost more hearing. It's

something we all dread happening to our children. Is the autoimmune

inner ear disease very rare? Would hearing aids or a cochlear implant

provide at least some benefit regarding his ability to hear?

Best wishes to your little son, you must all be so upset about it.

Anyway, it's good that you have accepted his deafness,

**ny is not a candidate. His hearing fluctuates so much. Sometimes he

has hearing and sometimes he doesn't.**

The fact that he wasn't born deaf means he knows what he is

missing.

***I am so so proud of ny for being Deaf and for handling all he has to

go through right now. He is the strongest child I've ever met.****
