Guest guest
well there is the mary megson thing about cis vitamin a and low vision also mercury does accumulate in the back of the eye i think and vison changes can indicative of mercury toxicty the eye is very deeply connected to the brain so you expect some immune connection i think... > Does anyone have any information or site links that would tell the > characteristics, traits or anything relating to blindness caused > from toxicity or vaccines? > > Still curious about that HepB connection. > > Lynn
Guest guest
I think I am going to make an appointment with the eye dr at our DAN! dr's office. There was no evidence of brain damage in an MRI, but that was done at 11 months. His eyes are completely in tact and are normal in appearance in all areas. He simply has rods and cones that don't work, sort of in an off position. They apparently are present still. Supposedly there are two types of LCA, his disease. Just trying to research it more. Probably a dead end and not worth me considering. He recently lost the rest of his vision. But I don't understand certain behaviors for him not having any. Guest guest
I don't have an answer for you, but... Rubella (3-day/German measles) in the past was linked with blindness in infants if the mother was not immune to it, and was exposed during pregnancy. This was one of the reasons given for encouraging people to get vaccinated. I have always been suspect of pregnant women being around anyone getting the rubella vaccine. This virus can shed for up to one year. It is linked to birth defects. I have a nephew who was born blind (chromosome damage, many problems). One of the mothers my sister used to communicate with has a blind daughter, her blindness was believed to be caused by the German measles. Also, some forms of blindness may be related to pesticides. My sister was over-exposed to pesticides, had a sick cat, when pregnant, and she and I are Downwinders... Has any genetic/chromosome testing been done? Megson talks about the tetanus part of the DPT shot interfering with rod function (something like that, can't remember details.) Best wishes to you. Guest guest
In trying to figure the whole thing out, I realized awhile back that my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD & CAPD soon after her HEP B shots in late elem school (6th Grade)! I just now realized she was the same age when she had to get glasses!!! This is also when she stopped being able to draw, write neatly and understand what she was reading. Guest guest
> Does anyone have any information or site links that would tell the > characteristics, traits or anything relating to blindness caused > from toxicity or vaccines? My son had HepB vax at 2 days old. His visual stims are his most persistent stims, altho he does not appear to have other vision issues. But it was only after 30 or more rounds of ALA chelation before his visual stims were even remotely affected, and now, even tho most days they are gone, any little thing will cause him to start up again. We have completed 43 rounds and he will still have visual stims when things are " not quite right " . It appears to be the very last thing to go, but it is slowly disappearing, so I am hopeful. I have heard good things about Dr. Megson and visual issues, so you might want to contact her office http://www.megson.com/ Dana
Guest guest
In her article posted on http://www.vaclib.org/email/hepbdang.htm , Professor Bonnie Dunbar mentions a case when one of her lab assistance went partially blind after HepB vaccination. You may want to write to Prof.Dunbar, her address is listed at the end of her article. Good luck!
Guest guest
That's the article that got me wondering. I wrote her, but not the physical address. I looked her up from Baylors web site. I wrote the other nite but haven't heard back. Guest guest
It may take more than one day to respond - she may simply be out of town or too busy to read her emails every night, or out sick with the flu etc etc...Maybe try to call and leave her a message? If she indeed is away from her office, her answering machine would say so. Good luck! > > In her article posted on > http://www.vaclib.org/email/hepbdang.htm , > > Professor Bonnie Dunbar mentions a case when one of her lab > > assistance went partially blind after HepB vaccination.
