Guest guest
Hi Andy and Others: My son is now 16 months old. I sent his hair to DDI last month. His only other sibling has AUTISM and is 5 years old. My son is also showing autistic tendencies (no clear diagnosis). His history: Relux, choking and hospitalization at 2 weeks Chronic yeast issues and gut bugs in the first year Stiffness in the back and legs Unexplainable earaches (without fluid and infection) Colic, irritable, agitated, very emotional, clingy, very light and disturbed sleep, sensory issues, etc, etc. Kept getting worse for first 8 months until we used conventional drugs. Finally switched to a DAN doc, killed gut bugs and brought physical symptoms under control. Used a homeopath to bring emotional symptoms under control. Still depended a lot on his meds and nystatin. Finally treated him with NAET and got him off his meds, but may not be long term. His Hair test results: The number of items above 50th percentile - 13 Number of items " very elevated " and " very low " - 3 Number of items entirely in the middle band - 13 Questions: (1) Not mercury toxic according to counting rules. He is NOT IMMUNIZED. Mom has 5 amalgams. Mom never ate fish after the age of 7. Never wore contact lenses, etc. I do not know of a source of mercury for him, except that I am STILL NURSING him. Should my son be excreting more mercury? (2) Is it better to quit nursing? He barely eats and thrives only on breastmilk. (3) I read an article that said 'babies are much more toxic because their systems arent's able to clean out toxins as well as in adults'. Can this be a reason why my son is so toxic? (4) Can we chelate a baby this young? For now I just did NAET for heavy metals. Not sure what that means. (5) Any other options other than chelation? (6) Will be going to Pfeiffer in November. Will start supplements from Brain Child nutritionals next week. Right now my son is getting zinc. Do I need to do anything else to prepare him for the chelation? Thanks in advance, -Indu.
