Hi ,I'm kinda new, make a lot of mistakes and probably not the best person to give advice :-)But I gave my son (3.5) too large a dose of mb12 sublingual and he went kinda bonkers for a couple weeks. He is still hyper, but I think we had that problem initially. ;-)

Anyway, we have been giving him GABA (in the form of a combo sub-lingual pill GABA-calm) and it has helped. The DAN said the dose was kinda small so we could go up to 750 if we wanted. So I am not sure if that would work in your case. You can google GABA and the use in ADHD ADD anxiety aggression... make your own decision based on the research but I just wanted to give you a starting point. I chose it because it is the chemical that some anti-seizure meds try to regulate, and my son has febrile seizures. Given it could help ADHD, aggression anxiety and seizure activity, I thought it would be good for us.

You can buy GABA in a lot of places, not sure on the additives or GFCF status... but the GABA-calm I get at Whole Foods or The Vitamin Shoppe.

About 10 months ago, we started my son on mb12 injections with oral folinic acid (admittedly I was not consistent witht he folinic becasue getting him to take it was a challenge).

WOW, I noticed miracles: awareness, cognition, speech, social skills, diminished OCD.

However, he became very aggressive and hyper. He would push the baby to the floor, draw blood, etc.

So our DAN gave us another formula that had lower dose mb12, p5p, folinic, and somethign else which I forget.

Same thing- I saw wonders but also the aggression and hyperactivity that was unbearable and dangerous to me and my other son.

So we just started hydroxy b12 lozenges yesterday. I am not seeing anythign as of yet. He is currently going through a period of regression. His last b12 shot was a month and a half ago.

Should we just stop b12? Is ther somehting we can do to help him tolerate it?

You'll need to break it down to it's smallest bits. It could be dosage, it could be how often and it could also be that you need 5mthf instead of folinic acid (or even you don't need it at all). I would first start by switching to 5 mthf or folapro (it's also 5mthf) and see what that does. If nothing then I would drop it altogether (folinic acid). I could also be that you need Hydroxy instead of methyl (which you are trying but you may need injections with those, too).

I also forgot to mention that for some, it increases yeast. You may simply need an antifungal.
