Guest guest
Kathy. iron overload is very rare in thyroid disease, we are much more likely to have various anemias, including iron-deficiency anemias. Feisty Fw: selenium and the thyroid, interesting>>>I am trying to see how iron overload can also cause the thyroid to not function. Will keep you posted.>>> >

Guest guest
Nope wrong. You LOOK like you have anemia (unless you have bleeding in your stomach). Do a total body iron panel, if the transferrin/hemoglobin is low, and you have an infection, bacteria, candida etc, you have IRON OVERLOAD, as it is being depleted from the blood and feeding the microbes. Look at IRON OVERLOAD sites for further info. Opposite information that your told from the white coats heh? KAthy Fw: selenium and the thyroid, interesting>>>I am trying to see how iron overload can also cause the thyroid to not function.
