Guest guest
hi,we've been doing gf/cf for about 6 months without seeing any real huge changes. chances are son would have sunk deeper into asd-land had we not introduced but i'm not willing to test it out with some gluten/casein. we've also done scd and are currently on BED for the whole family. all 4 of us have allergic shiners and the under eye creases and i don't really know how to do an elimination diet for allergies. i also wonder if all of us doing BED is necessarily the right diet for all of us. how does one select the proper diet? i suspect phenols for my son who is obsessed with tomatoes and apples and bought the phenol assist by kirkman, but haven't really noticed any marked changes from it. he also does not eat any soy. (BED restricts almost all allergens anyway except eggs). my husband suspects low blood sugar for himself and feels constantly starved on the BED (and is already very thin). anyone have any suggestions? haven't yet tried low-oxalate or hypoglycemic..is it possible to not be a responder to any dietary intervention?thanks, leah
