Sad person that I am, I've just caught the end of " This Morning " - they had

done makeovers on 3 mums with 6 day old babies!

2 of the babies started crying - camera cut to 3rd mum's before and after

makeover pictures, then returned to group of 3 and middle mum appeared to be

very discretely breastfeeding! No embarrassed looks from Nicky e or

Lee Dinn (or and Fern Britton!). Everyone passed a glass of

bubbly to celebrate Fern's marriage to Phil Vickery (celebrity chef) -

middle mum had one arm/hand supporting baby and other hand holding

champagne - baby still turned to breast and quiet. Mum discretely adjusted

top so she could make sure baby " feeding " properly.

A 1st for " This Morning " ?

Such a shame about the tone of their phone-in yesterday (general health

phone-in I think) with their resident doctor - one caller had horrendous 1st

vaginal birth, advised to have section with 2nd because of problems and

requested a section with 3rd (can't remember all the details). Comments

made about Cherie Blair's birth - how she'd been congratulated on avoiding

c/s this time. Judy was quite dismissive of these comments (had a couple of

c/s' herself, although no details). Doctor outlined some of the risks (to

the mother only) and why c/s is considered necessary (placenta previa,

awkwardly-lying breech, severe pre-eclampsia, etc).
