losing hearing aids

After the manufacturer's warranty expires, we got hearing aid insurance

(probably on Kay's page too) through a company called MidWest. It is so much

per item (was $150 for her Sonovation FM hearing aids and transmitter; will

be more for our new HA's and transmitter) Because something broke every year

it ended up a good investment for us.

We also attached the hearing aids to our daughter's TShirt with a short (so

as not to allow choking) piece of clear fishing line until she finished

kindergarten. MANY times we'd find them trailing down her back and

APPRECIATED that fishing line!

them what had happened.

It was during this experience that I found out our homeowner's policy only

covered for

certain things (called listed perils) and flushing down the toilet was not

one of them.<

Kay and ....... Thanks for advise and info on lost HA,s I still can

not find them! He must of flushed them? I usually do not leave him alone in

bathroom but my husband gives him much more freedom!!! One of our biggest

arguments!
