Guest guest
After the manufacturer's warranty expires, we got hearing aid insurance (probably on Kay's page too) through a company called MidWest. It is so much per item (was $150 for her Sonovation FM hearing aids and transmitter; will be more for our new HA's and transmitter) Because something broke every year it ended up a good investment for us. We also attached the hearing aids to our daughter's TShirt with a short (so as not to allow choking) piece of clear fishing line until she finished kindergarten. MANY times we'd find them trailing down her back and APPRECIATED that fishing line! >And, accidents will happen...All we needed was a notarized letter telling them what had happened. It was during this experience that I found out our homeowner's policy only covered for certain things (called listed perils) and flushing down the toilet was not one of them.<
