Guest guest
Pat, I believe the formula is: multiply your weight by 709 and divide this number by your height in inches squared. For example: 180 * 709 which equals 127,620 Now, divide this by 72 (height in inches) squared which is 5184. This would then giv you 127,620 divided by 5184 giving a BMI of24.618 Cy, The Anasazi.... oogroups.com [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of LaFrance-Wolf Sent: Saturday, January 10, 2009 5:41 PM To: blind-diabetics Subject: [sPAM] RE: where did I get all these carbs/high blood count from? You multiply your weight times 709, then divide that number by your height in inches twice. Forinstaance, my weight is 133 X 709 divided by 61 twice. Re: where did I get all these carbs/high blood count from? , I don't like what is on my calculator. I know I am not getting the right thing here. What do you do with the weight and the height? thanks. Vicki You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying Him, and committing yourself firmly to Him. ~ Deuteronomy 30:20, NLT where did I get all these carbs/highbloodcount from? I had a bowl of cereal this morning, I had two slices of good variety brown bread, the heavy type, with a generous amount of cream cheese on each half slice, I had three chicken/with batter/light,andand some frozen vegies, *fried a little in Basel margerine, but here's the catch, I had a glass of a kinda of kool aide drink, I thing I did it for ssure on the drink; I got an amazing blood count too high! I'm a little mythed on the hight count, but thinking about it again, maybe the kraft creamed cheese was was too much despite the reading from the label, *1 carg per 1 table spoon of philadelphia creamed cheese! I've noticed that one cannot always get a predictable reading as our system holds sugers from not only today, but days of the past. Any comments would be welcomed. Ken B in Toronto.
