Guest guest
I changed the subject to reflect a shift in the discussion topic. I just used Pat's formula for measuring BMI (body mass index), and if I did it right, my BMI is 27.1. I did this in a spread sheet, which is my most accessible calculator! I played around with my weight in the formula, and discovered I need to shed 17 pounds to get a BMI of 24.53. I've been saying I needed to loose 10 pounds, but it looks like I was wrong! Thanks for the formula Pat. Dave A wise man's heart guides his mouth, and his lips promote instruction. (Proverbs 16:23) where did I get all these carbs/highbloodcount from? I had a bowl of cereal this morning, I had two slices of good variety brown bread, the heavy type, with a generous amount of cream cheese on each half slice, I had three chicken/with batter/light,andand some frozen vegies, *fried a little in Basel margerine, but here's the catch, I had a glass of a kinda of kool aide drink, I thing I did it for ssure on the drink; I got an amazing blood count too high! I'm a little mythed on the hight count, but thinking about it again, maybe the kraft creamed cheese was was too much despite the reading from the label, *1 carg per 1 table spoon of philadelphia creamed cheese! I've noticed that one cannot always get a predictable reading as our system holds sugers from not only today, but days of the past. Any comments would be welcomed. Ken B in Toronto.
