Other than the annual deductible that every medicare patient pays out of pocket, is there any addition out of pocket payments? My billing service is sending statements to the patient for a small amount after Medicare and the seconday(atena in this case) have paid. Is this correct? My patient says he has seen another therapists in a different state(Mi) and has never seen a bill, or been asked to pay extra.
