Guest guest
This article is about going somewhere else for the holidays(Holidaze) and keeping it in control. I know personally that I will be going to away for the Christmas. I will be gone over a week. I hope this helps anyone!!! Tami ) Beat a Holiday Binge by Sue Gilbert By anticipating the situation, you can PLAN what and when you will eat and so will avoid impulse eating. A few days before you go, WRITE down a schedule of your planned eating while you're there. For example, decide that you will eat three meals, one snack a day at 3pm and only one drink with cocktails. With a plan in writing, you're less apt to eat what's not on it. Before making the visit, discuss the plan with your spouse so he can help cue you to stay on track. And if you really can't avoid eating some of the junk food, plan to eat less. Help yourself by bringing along healthier food alternatives. Plan on exercising while there. Find a local gym and buy a guest pass, or stake out a good running route. Getting exercise will help with those extra calories you do eat. And, lastly, relax. It's only a short-term situation, so even if you do " slip, " you can quickly get back on track at home.
