That was also my first thought.

All my kids had very light bms while they were gluten-free. When I

was able to add back gluten, their bms darkened within a day. So it

might just be diet related.

Also, if they have a yeast issue, the bms will get a little lighter,

so consider that also.

Are any of the supplements colored orange? That would also do it.

High B vitamins being excreted will cause very dark urine. Also

dehydration will cause it, so be sure he is drinking sufficiently.

Hello Margaret,

well, I think you could take it as an indication of

non-optimal digestive system functioning. I'm not

sure what, specifically you should do about it, but

I would not suggest panic, or even high anxiety.

I would suggest taking some time and reading more.

I would suggest Kirkman's gut healing book. There

is a FILE on the enzymes list (sorry, I don't know

the name) about poop colors. (yes, really.) That

may be worth a look. (FILES for that list are here:

/files/

I'm not sure whether digestive enzymes or milk thistle

are " better " -- probably both would be useful but I'm

not sure if they would affect the yellow poop color.

I know of no reason that you would postpone chelation

based on this. However, I do think that contining

to read about digestion issues, and try things at a

slow thoughtful pace, is a good idea, whether chelating

or not.
