Well, if you don't have the $$$, Labcorp has a much smaller test that you can run - it does include MTHFR. It's only like 5 r 6 genes.

Just a question... is it worth 500$ to know what I am mutated in? Can't I just take bio-available vitamins to be sure and save the money? Or is the point that some vitamins might throw a person off balance, or over time buying bio-available vitamins is costly??

And your opinion... if you were to spring for the test, and you knew all 4 people in your family have a mutation, would you buy the test for the kids, for everyone, or the adults? The reason I ask about just the adults is because some mutations may be ruled out if both my husband and I are negative for one of them...

Anyone who has done this, how long does it take to get results? How does it work? You order the kit and it's mailed to you, then you have the blood drawn at the lab of your choice?-- Toni

Yes, with the protocol, it also suggests

specific supplements under each mutation, that you can use to address your

particular issue.

RNA’s are $85 a bottle – and my son is using

11 of them…NOT cheap, but certainly worth it for the gains we’re seeing in a

short amount of time…

Thanks, .

I can't afford to do it for everyone (we are all MTHFR mutated!) but I was

thinking maybe just for my son. He hasn't been dx'd with ASD, but he has a lot

of issues (aggression, seizures, ADHD-like) My daughter is ASD but she is for

the most part well-behaved and functions well... so it is hard for me to choose

one kid over the other.

Can I use the info to just treat with bio-available vitamins? I am not sure I

want to spend 70$/month + on RNA drops, on top of the vitamin supps... I mean,

I know I can use the info however I like, but I am assuming the diagnostic info

will talk about the different necessary vitamins and not just say " the

treatment for this deficiency is Yasko drops #7 and Yasko vitamins #2. "

(well you know what I mean?!)

You target your child’s individual mutations through specific RNAs. Tho

very expensive, it has been the best intervention so far for my son.

Who knows! :) I know about it so it might be something I mentioned. Not a huge fan of Woeller but I know it's incredibly useful for those that have no other options.

Oh that's too bad (about the over-charging)Yeah now that we have a DAN it's kinda unnecessary for us too but I wanted to print the info off the site before un-subbing ;-)

No, I don't.  We have a DAN so it's an unnecessary expense for us.Not a fan because Dr. Woeller seems more interested in charging patients for everything under than sun than anything else.  If a parent calls his office, they won't even *talk* to you without a credit card number on file.  I'm not saying he's not a good DAN, I don't know although I do know - never seen him.  I know some others that were seeing him before all this $$$ stuff and they loved him.
