I wasn't going to write back again because, frankly I feel rather dumb at the

minute. Maybe I don't need my bmi that badly. But you multiply your weight

which is 17 pounds (grin) times 709. okay not you do your height in inches

twice, actually forgot what you do, but also, do you add the 2 heights and

devide or whatever or do you take one and devide it then the other? This thing

has got me, I'll tell ya, N I have always been pretty good at math. Not today.

You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying Him, and

committing yourself firmly to Him.

~ Deuteronomy 30:20, NLT

where did I get all these carbs/highbloodcount

from?

I had a bowl of cereal this morning, I had two slices of good variety brown

bread, the heavy type, with a generous amount of cream cheese on each half

slice, I had three chicken/with batter/light,andand some frozen vegies,

*fried a little in Basel margerine, but here's the catch, I had a glass of a

kinda of kool aide drink, I thing I did it for ssure on the drink; I got an

amazing blood count too high! I'm a little mythed on the hight count, but

thinking about it again, maybe the kraft creamed cheese was was too much

despite the reading from the label, *1 carg per 1 table spoon of

philadelphia creamed cheese! I've noticed that one cannot always get a

predictable reading as our system holds sugers from not only today, but days

of the past. Any comments would be welcomed. Ken B in Toronto.

You take you height and divide it into the number you got by multiplying

your weight times 709 and then divide it again by your height in inches..

,

I believe you are correct as:

320*709=226,880

73*73=5329

226,880/5329=42.575 rounded

Dan, I think that is way off. My calculation is 42.6, which is way above

morbidly obese.

Hi Ricky Joe,

You're welcome. I have the same fight with weight and it seems like a

mountain to climb, but I have to make mole hills out of mountains so I can

handle it. Try brown rice, that will help a little.

Ruth, thanks for the encouragement!

To be honest I'm extremely scared of putting back on those pounds and am

trying like heck to avoid the really bad carbs for me which are potatoes and

white rice.

With the depression and living with a non diabetic who likes lots of carbs

its really hard to stick to a no or low carb diet. I only work part time and

am on disability so don't have a lot of money for a separate food budget

just for me.

Its really hard to shop because I have to coax my room mate away from things

and a few times he has just gotten totally pissed at me.

Its even gotten so bad that I've been thinking of living but on my income

that's an unrealistic option.
