Guest guest
Hey there guys. When I went to the podiatrist a few weeks ago, I was told that my insurance covered 1 pair of custom made shoes and I think that is per year but not sure. Anyhow, they submitted the request for them and I found out that it was approved so I am going in tomorrow to get measured by the Doctor. Has anyone on this list ever had this done? It's great that it is covered so I would think that this would be something that others might be interested in. I'm wondering what the shoes are really like and if folks can really notice the difference when wearing them. I usually wear Crocx because I have trouble finding really comfortable shoes so I'm looking forward to giving these a try once they come in. Would be interested in anyone else's experience with made to order shoes. They are made by a company called Dia-Foot. Can't help but wonder if they might be ugly with no sense of fashion to them at all. (lol)
