The deadline for the Adopt a Chair project is Friday, January 3, 2003.

Jan. 8 your family can still be there in spirit. To help with the cost of the

chairs, we are asking parents to " buy " a chair for their child for $10.  Your

child's name, diagnosis and picture (optional) will be placed on the chair

for policticans and the world to see. We will be asking politicians attending

the rally to adopt a chair and be a voice for your child. Having 300 empty

chairs with our children's names on them will make a powerful statement and

will give your child a chance to be there in spirit.

We have several people who have sponsored chairs so everyone please make sure

your families are represented. Please send an e-mail to JPiker@... with

your family name, affected child's name, age, diagnosis, and a picture.

I've had 2 chairs sponsored for someone from Rhode Island who would like

their state represented so please contact me if you're from this state.
