Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have a 2.5 year old son with autism and severe apraxia. He has speech, but articulation is very poor. What makes him unique is that he continues to make attempts and his phrasing is even up to 8-10 words at times. Right now, I feel this is truly the biggest hurdle for him. He gets fish oils and vitamin E- this started him babbling. We tried Namenda which ignited language- but he can't tolerate the drug. We had to take him off after two weeks. Can anyone recommend ANYTHING else that you may have tried to help with motor planning and articulation issues with regard to speech apraxia? I am desperate. Thanks a lot, Kim
