Guest guest
I have a 6y/o with autism who has been calling everybody butt-head for the past couple of months. We have tried all the techniques we know to no avail. I can explain most of her bizarre and annoying behaviors to others but this one people just don't understand why she won't stop. I think if everyone could just ignore it long enough it would go away but this seems impossible especially for other children. She always gets such a reaction from them. Help please! Any suggestions appreciated.
Guest guest
Do she to watch Sponge Bob? I to be to find often children watch cartoons that offer poorly processed social scriptings of phrases they hear from such shows and lack the knowing of its real meaning or social offenses and so struggle why you and others to tell her to stop when she to hear it on TV and others to laugh??? So to her Butt head is a phrase she to heared and maybe processed as humor if others to laughed on it or if others to shared this phrase at school.
