Guest guest
Hi i can understad how are you feeling i have a son 5 now but when he was 3 simething happen in school we had ard and the teacher he dint know and the principal scream mad this dont happen in my school so i take off from school and i try to help him showing animals things cards because he left the school year long but is your desicion the school is a gigant to figth but only you can take action on this is scared this thing happen we must supervise all the people close to our kids because they cant talk and say anything try the meeting talk and take pictures and notes and date time etc take care you and God bless you Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Very Bad Day Hi everyone..... I'm sorry this may be a little long but no one else seems to understand my frustration...my son is 4 and is in a public school, special education class. 8 kids and a teacher and an assistant. In 4 months my son has come home bloody 3 times. ( that I know about) First he came home with what looked like a puncture/scrape and bruise under his neck. when I called the school no one knew anything about it!! His teacher said she never saw it when I KNOW he would have cried terribly.2 weeks ago a child hit him in the face with a toy and split his lip open and today they said he walked into a brick wall and now has a swollen and bloody forehead. I cant take this anymore and I'm so frustrated I dont know what to do. My son cant tell me whats happening at school and even his teacher slipped and said once that if he has something visible on him that I would notice she will put a note in his notebook that gets sent home everyday. whats happening that I dont know about? He used to love school and now he hates it and doesnt like to hear me even say the word. He is in preschool and I want to pull him out put him in a school that would be a much better enviroment but I cant afford to do that. The catch there is I have a good job and dont qualify for any assistancr but still dont make enough to afford it. I am failing him and the guilt is killing me and I dont know what else to do. I'm sorry to keep going, thank you for letting me vent. ------------------------------------
Guest guest
You might want to look into an advocate before a Lawyer. They are free and they know the law about schools. Unless you can find a lawyer who specializes in School Law it is rather complicated. I sadly had a fight with the Assistant Super Intendent also knows (as the head of special needs services for my county) calling her boss did not help. Getting an advocate and letting them know that it had gone all the way up the chain wayyyyyy over their heads and all their jobs were on the line I got my way. So just remember the Superintendent is out to protect the school system they are not your friend. > > > > > > > > > > Â > > > > Hi everyone.... . > > > > I'm sorry this may be a little long but no one else seems to understand my frustration. ..my son is 4 and is in a public school, special education class. 8 kids and a teacher and an assistant. Guest guest
I'm not sure how to go about finding an advocate. Are they set up by state or county? That might be the best way to go. >You might want to look into an advocate before a Lawyer. They are free and they know the law about schools.
