Why is pulse so important? I think mine is always

What would be low enough to be considered hypo??

Well I just checked my pulse sitting here doing nothing in the am and had my

second and last cup of coffee and it's 66. But like I said I'm resting. Is it

resting pulse Val that we need to check? How long should we rest before

checking it?

Resting pulse yes.

Mine is 80 to 88 resting when I'm feeling good, anything under 80 and

I need an increase.

Your " sweet spot " varies with fitness (as you get fitter your heart

gets bigger meaning it moves more blood with each beat). Unless you

are athletically fit (and how few hypos can get fit) you will need a

resting pulse over 75 to stand any chance of feeling right.

If you have a good day note your pulse and then you can find your way

back there again.

I'm not sure what mine should be but that's good advice!

I've been weight training for the last 5 years, pretty heavy for a 50 yr old

woman, but I'm overweight and don't do ANY cardio - just can't endure it.

I'm still waiting for that sweet spot and I hope it comes soon:)

I have been working out with weights, pretty intense workout, for 27 yrs. It

never made the least bit of difference in my weight. Did make me feel better,

helped depression.

Yea I do it for my health, whether it helps me lose or not. The only way I lose

weight is to starve, which is probably why I have an RT3 problem. I've starved

and low carbed all my life. I'm not doing it now, but I'm so tempted sometimes!

I'm just crossing my fingers that once my body gets some real T3 it will help.
