My PT Benchmark studies have shown the average office staff productivity is

to be able to process around 2 visits per hour with a large range and

standard deviation. Of course, this varies depending on if you outsource

billing & collections or other administrative functions.

Subject: Administrative staffing benchmarks

Is anyone familiar with benchmarks for front office staffing? I have heard

one front office person for every 25 patients scheduled.

Also at which point should a small, but growing practice add an office

manager? We outsource billing and collections, payroll and book keeping.
