Yet when I eat fruit and vegetables and don't take in a lot of fluids I seem to secrete more fluids. LOL hope you understand my South African version. Guest guest Posted May 4, 2000 Report Share Posted May 4, 2000 Water shouldn't make you retain whereas the fruit juices may.....watch your salt intake including veggies high in salt (celery) other than that I have no idea why you are retaining water. I guess I will give you all the abreviated story of my daughter and why we suspect mercury..... or other heavy metals . But I am getting ahead of you all. My daughter is 10 years old. She has the diagnosis of bp-nos, pdd- nos as well as severe LD. She was adopted when she was almost 2 years old. She is from Peru and lived in the high Andes until we could come and get her. From what we know of her birth family, (really there is no info), her birth mom worked in a mine as a minor. Now I don't know if you know the types of mines in Peru but there are lots of silver mines and gold mines there. The water is polluted with all types of things not just human waste. Our theory is that M.L. has had heavy metal poisoning from where she lived.... Also, she suffered from extreme malnutrition. So we feel there are lots of things that are contributing to our daughters problems. As for the vaccines, well, she had them in Peru... including the TB vaccine. I have continued with vaccinations because of all the kids I saw in Peru who were so disabled from childhood illness.... Thank you for listening.
