Guest guest
Hi again! I've posted several times in the past week about starting my son on a trial of Valtrex. Well, I read all the advice I received through my threads and decided that I should take my son off Valtrex after having him on a very low dose for less than a week (my son is 8 and was on 250 mg 2x/day. The main reason I took him of was because most comments said that he was on too low a dose and that he would become resistant to Valtrex. Well, we have been off for three days and now my son has an eczema like rash (never had one in his life) in the creases of his elbows and arm pits. Could this rash be a sign that the Valtrex, even at a very low dose, was working? What should I do? Confused, Dayna
