Guest guest
>What on earth is happening here? I am only on 80ug T3 and my Ferritin was 133, Cortisol was 23. Have I reached another phase? What can I do? I'm beginning to think I should give up because this is just too much. My temperatures do not fluctuate and morning basal is still 35.7????C > >Thanks to anyone who can explain, Pulse rate is?? it sounds like you are hypo big time. at 7 weeks most of your own thyroid production will have ceased and most of the conversion from any residual T4 will have ceased as well. Were you on any thyroid replacement before you started T3? If so what and how much. Most people, AFTER resistance has cleared end up on 75 to 125. If there is severe resistance they could need up to twice that to be " not hypo " . Are you getting any symptoms that are saying you can't take the T3 up another 10 a day?? Could you have a cold or another infection?? I ended up going up 12.5 every week until my resistance cleared at 11 weeks when I had to drop by half. Guest guest
Thanks Nick,My pulse has been 60 all of my life and still is..I'd never tried any thyroid medication before until trying Thyroid-s (Armour style from Thailand) 4 months ago - I had to abort at 2 grains because it sent me crazy. so I'm trying T3 and in spite of all of the problems I actually do believe that it will work for me. I get snippets of reality but it is hard to gauge some other symptoms and know what to do. This is apparently a hereditary problem.I'll raise the T3 intake level more frequently.I'll leave with a tip from my unhelpful doctor here:"Some people just have a low temperature"..To: RT3_T3 Sent: Sat, 31 October, 2009 10:26:58 PMSubject: Re: 7 Weeks? >What on earth is happening here? As Val puts it " unless you are an athlete that's a strong sign of being hypo, a more normal level is 75 to 85 >I'd never tried any thyroid medication before until trying Thyroid-s (Armour style from Thailand) 4 months ago - I had to abort at 2 grains because it sent me crazy. Did any of your family find answers? > >I'll raise the T3 intake level more frequently. try and monitor temperature and pulse as you do. If pulse if over 90 you are probably on too much. If average temperature is over 37C you are on too much or have an infection. If temperature is unstable then it's cortisol issues. > >I'll leave with a tip from my unhelpful doctor here: > > " Some people just have a low temperature " . > Heard that one before, if only those Docs realised how little they know! That's what my ex-endo said. I read that they used to take newborn baby's temp when they were born and give them a little thyroid if it was low. Now they have just revised the normal temps downward. That's one way to eliminate an epidemic. Dorothy
