Guest guest
When we use " yeast aid " we use 4 capsules twice a day morning and early afternoon and then give probiotics in the late afternoon. In our house yeast can slow bowel motility so giving an antifungal might have the effect of moving the bowels. I don't know about the " yellow " but some people have described light colored or " fluffy " BMs with yeast which, to me sounds like a lot of yeast and perhaps a stronger anti fungal like diflucan would be needed-- your thoughts? > > Hello All, > > Has anyone seen a big response to using yeast aid? We tried diflucan and did not see much. Sporonox caused a rash. We know he has a yeast issue from the results of Great Plains urine test. > > Last week he started yeast aid: 1/4 tsp once per day. Within 1 hour of taking he would be filled with ridiculous overblown yeasty laughing spells. Then another hour and he would have a big yellow BM. Following the BM he was calm. Guest guest
Actually, we used diflucan for 6 weeks and saw little response. This is why I was surprised to get a seemingly large response from just 1 capsule of yeast aid. Thanks so much for your response. Guest guest
they may be fluconizole resistant (diflucan) but sensitive to the naturals in yeast aid, love that stuff because there are SO many thing in there that fight yeast and even bacteria as well From: Hammes Sent: Wednesday, December 29, 2010 12:48 PM To: mb12 valtrex Subject: Re: Re: Yeast Aid- anyone else see big improvement with this? Guest guest
I used that w/ my dd for awhile, it seemed to work well for us at the time, just a little pricey. It sounds like you got a good response so if it works for you thats great! Staying off rx is always the better way to go. It does sound like it's time to bump it up a bit though and clear that crud out. A good probiotic is in order as well if you dont already have one. Threelac has been helping us tremendously but I think that's because we were getting more of an ammonia problem after awhile. Sure did look like yeast though! Good luck! > > Hello All, > > Has anyone seen a big response to using yeast aid? We tried diflucan and did not see much. Sporonox caused a rash.
