Guest guest
es! You are still very hypo by these labs. as you work the T3 up and DO take a bedtime dose it will begin to help as the RT3 leaves the cell receptors. I used to be impossible ot wake in the AM and then felt liek crap till 10-11 every day. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
1. Those labs were before I started taking Cytomel, but i still don't feel different yet. How would I know if it's the adrenals or the thryoid that is doing this? 2. Would it help if instead of taking the Cytomel first thing in the am I wait until a few hours later? I'm thinking that maybe the T3 is using up too much cortisol and making the adrenals weak in the morning. 3. What does the night time dose do? > > es! Guest guest
Yep, been struggling with morning fatigue for ages. My FT3/RT3 ratio was also 14.9. Been on T3 for over a year, and still having frequent morning fatigue, but then, I had majorly low ferritin (11) which I'm still working on (59.5). Here's something I found recently. I wake up more perky if I take 1/2 tab of melatonin (3mg tab) at bedtime. My sleep is still fractured, disrupted, and all that, but a whole tab of melatonin leaves me tired in the morning. Also, since I have reactive hypoglycemia, I've just discovered that it helps tremendously to eat a few frozen cherries even before I get out of bed. I eat the cherries at 6:45 when DH leaves for work, and take my T3 right after (sublingually). Then I get up at 8:00. This is keeping my blood sugar from being totally bottomed out when I get up, which is extremely hard on the adrenals.
Guest guest
I woudl not wait over an hour after you are awake before taking the T3. The bedtime dose will help you tpo not be SO depleted in T3 by Am also at night is when thyroid does much of it's cellular rebuilding and detoxing so good night time levels are important. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
That is interesting- I will definitely try this out! So, you think the morning sluggishness issues are more thryoid than adrenal related? > > I woudl not wait over an hour after you are awake before taking the T3. > The bedtime dose will help you tpo not be SO depleted in T3 by Am also > at night is when thyroid does much of it's cellular rebuilding and > detoxing so good night time levels are important. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
