Whilst in the US when she was 9mo, I lost Steffi's first year diary. I was gutted. Then I realised how many emails I'd sent since I'd had her, in particular to one mum in the US. And to my parents whilst I was in the US. Just daily ramblings about life with a new baby. I've more than re-built it and in far more detail than I would ever bother to write in a diary. -- Sue (who just knows Steffi will turn out to have no desire to explore her past and no intention to travel, since she has a highly documented history and two passports to travel on!)
