Hi,

Have you tried on the website of your MAC (Medicare Administrative

Contractor)? The usually have the information there as well and it may be

in a better format to search.

Hello all,

I am trying to find a quick reference for CPT code coverage

determination on the Medicare website. Currently I use a host of

resources, such as past transmittals, my billing dept, the physician fee

schedule, and Chapter 12 of the " internet only manuals " but I am

wondering if there is a better, quicker reference for CMS decisions

regarding coverage of certain CPT codes within the last 10 years.

What is the best reference out there, other than your own billing dept,

if you ask the question " I wonder if CMS pays for that code? " (in the

therapy setting using Physical Medicine codes)
