And we should stay away from Echinacea, too. I saw losenges once with that in it and the label actually said it was not to be used by people with MS. Here from http://www.berkeleywellness.com/html/ds/dsEchinacea.php"Claims, Benefits: Cures colds, boosts immunity. Bottom Line: Though the supplements are prescribed in Germany for colds and flu, studies on them have yielded conflicting results. The plant is a complicated mix of chemicals; some might actually stimulate the immune system or promote healing. But you don't know what you're getting in the bottle. Little is known about toxicity. To be safe, don't take it if you have lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, tuberculosis, or multiple sclerosis, or are HIV-positive or pregnant."Anything that boosts the immune system is thought to exacerbate MS. But, I am on LDN and the thought with LDN is that it will "reset" the immune system. MSers should also beware of taking too much B6 because that can cause the same symptoms as MS--numbness, tingling, etc.Sharon This email is a natural hand made product. I found this remote article on google tonight. I thought it was really good on B12 and other supplements. The MS Book for Dummies said that Vit C and E plus Selenium should be avoided because they stimulate the immune system that as we know is already PLENTY stimulated. I mean for one article/book that says one thing there is another saying the complete opposite. How do you know what to do anyway?

Love, Pegi who is reading way too much
