Mine was lowered but nowere near half.Did you get the 250$ that was being sent out? Mine was taken due to a student loan but I think once my doc fills out the paperwork for that I may get it reinbursed.Not holding my breath thats for sure.What happened with Meals on wheels? So here's the scoop/ life wMS, etc.Big appointment with internist yesterday.We went over all my meds, all my conditions,every imaginable (and some unlikely) symptom, pain level, numbness in legs and feet,the works. Summary of ophthalmologist' sreport, gastroenterologist' s report, orthopedist's report, yada, yada.Then, my internist sat bag, grinning fromear to ear, and said: "Looks like that pneumonia is gone, and you are doing prettywell!From my doctor's point

of view, he is right.However, although my SSDI remains thesame, my SSI was cut in half, Meals-on-Wheels suddenly disappeared, and thecupboard is bare.But I am still here, have paid Comcast,and decided that all in all things are indeedpretty good.Besides, I amalmost 72! (Of course my ownmother lived to 103, my father to 97; I do keepwondering whether we shall even have medicalcare should I live much longer, but all in all,things are pretty good..I even lost 10 lbs. Whee!Love to you all,n
