internet EMT-B & teenagers in EMS

I have 2 questions that perhaps someone can help with.

1) Does there exist any Internet based EMT-B course (of course skills

would come from some adjunct) or is there a quick EMT-B curriculum

somewhere were one could complete the requirements in a few weekends,

etc.?

2) Is anyone training teenagers in EMS, even though they cannot be

certified until 18? I remember a big push in the inner city

environment a few years.

As to question #2:

We have had students [16-17 y.o.] in the EMT-B class on

the condition that the parents signed forms[notarized] for

the student to do clinicals and ambulance ride outs.
