I've eagerly read the recent thread detailing calming supplements. Does anyone

know if there are liquid versions of Pycnogenol or GABA available? I'd really

like to hear about anyone's experiences with these supplements in particular in

regards to calming their child down. My son is increasingly manic and ANGRY.

He is just recently starting to talk so I incorrectly thought this would help

the behavioral issues but it only seems to be getting worse! We have tried

CALM-PRT with no help. Thanks for any help.

Hello,I am using GABA for my son not only for calming but also maintaining the healthy glutamate-GABA balance which is crucial for decreasing the inflammation of the brain. When I gave him his first capsule, he became so hyper. Later I learned that I should have started low. I started opening up the capsule and sprinkling little by little to his food. Now he is used to it and I can give him three caps a day. I would not say hyperactivity is gone but can definitely say that aggression is gone. He would scratch our faces, hit us, for no reason. Now he is not doing that. He is learning faster, too. Recently I have learned that L- Theanine calms better than GABA and I am going to be ordering it soon. Good luck.
