Guest guest
For the past two days I have been running over 200 levels on my glr. For instance I had a glr of 212, and dosed enough Humalog to bring it down to130 and two hours later the glr was 216, completely abnormal. I got my wife to test the monitor and she got a 107 reading thirty minutes after she ate candy, which is normal for her a non-diabetic. So I concluded the monitor is in good working order. Then I dosed 23 units of Humalog to bring my glr down to around 90-100, and two hours later my glr was 166. So I figured something is wrong with my Humalog insulin. So I dosed 5 units of Humalog to be sure and it lowered my glr 4 points in a hour and a half. This confirmed for me that the insulin must be impotent. So I took a prescription to the pharmacy to get a new vile of Humalog. I ate an egg sandwich and consumed around 30 carbs and dosed enough to bring down my glr to around 100, around 20 units of Humalog. Two hours later my glr is 212. The expiration dates on both insulins are good for almost two years in 2010 and 2011respectively. So the Humalog insulins are both good, yet my glr keeps rising, and I do not have a fever or infection. Does any body here have a clue as to what is going on with my body? This is a complete bafflement to me. Harry " Who are these hoaxter idiots proclaiming man-caused global warming/climate change? " , the Sun What is wrong here?
