My palm might itch for up to a month then the breakout of herpes virus hits. Maybe just one will erupt but the itching is my signal that it's coming. There have been times when I'll get the itching then nothing happens at all. Of course once the itching stops and the pain begins I know for sure the eruption will be there in a few days.
