Guest guest
> actually it comes with all the instructions on how to brew, dosing, etc. It's pretty easy, if you are intersted I'd reccomend the " autism info packet " that you can order. I found some really intersting things in there. 1-the tea has supps that out kids, most anyway, take already so yoiu need to be careful and may have to adjust supps. I added a few things here and there in the last 3-4 days, and see some changes. I have to pull them out and start at a later date. Dosage may be wrong, may need a companion supp, etc. I'd go back into the archives or ask on the list about the tea, you get plenty of feedback that way. lots of luck Karyn > From: " Dagmar " <dagmarjahr@...> > Date: 2002/12/03 Tue AM 02:32:35 EST > < > > Subject: [ ] objiwa tea again > >
Guest guest
Hi, The tea comes in a packet inside a paper bag with a pamphlet that describes how to make and dose the tea. I think it has a taste similar to chamomile tea. The instructions say to dilute it with an equal amouont of hot water but we drink it cold straight from the fridge , undiluted. We had gains in eye contact and attention when we started it over a year ago. I wouldn't go without it. It is very good for intestinal tract and healing leaky gut problems. It helps to keep gut flora balanced. :0) Maddie > Hi, > > I like what has been written about this tea. Just wondering, if there was a different impact. Guest guest
I have never tried to dilute it. At first I was thinking the less of it to swallow , the better. But, really we all drink an ounce in the morning and the only one who complains is my husband who puts tons of sugar on everything. Husband thinks it is " bitter " . I think it tastes like herbal tea. :0) > > > - > > Do you notice a big difference between drinking it cold out of the fridge or diluted? Guest guest
I make a big batch and keep it in the fridge for around a week by then its used up - I remember being told just look for mould floating on top then you know its no good - I have never seen any. My boys are extra extra sensitive to everything and cope fine with 20mls every morning. Guest guest
Hi, you are absolutly right, those are the directions. You could write the tea lady , she has always answered my emails. I think some people start just giving a teaspoon once a day and work up. Most people say it actually helps with sensitivities because it coats the gut. If we have infractions to diet now my son's reactions are much less than in the past. I believe it is very healing to the gut. Although , we had diahrrea when we first started the tea, for at least 4 days. Might try to start on a long weekend or maybe over Christmas break. :0) > > > > > > > - > > > > > > Do you notice a big difference between drinking it cold out of the > > fridge or diluted? Guest guest
> actually since she has been taking the tea she seems to be able to handle new supps, etc better. before she was so sensitive to anything that she would freak!!! She screamed for 2 days at the introduction to enzymes about a week before starting the tea. now she takes one a day without any complaint!!! Guest guest
I think I read in the directions for the Ojibwa Tea that it should be diluted w/ an equal or double amout of unfloridated, boiled water & taken on an empty stomach, sipped slowly. Does anyone know how long it can be kept in the refrigerator once prepared? I've been a little hesitant to start it on my daughter since she has so many sensitivities to things. Has anyone had a problem w/ an allergy to the tea? I'm also wondering if it is safe to use during chelation rounds. Guest guest
I've always used it during chelation rounds with no problem. I would put the ALA in with it. This worked very well for us.
