I am not doing it. My son doesn't have TB but he does have allergies to everything on his skin, band-aids make him break out. Thanks everyone!

I know it probably is safe - but is it safe to get my son a TB test for school? He is starting preschool and I have already given them the letter opting out of vaccines but they said he needs a TB test. The TB test doesn't have aluminum or some metal in it? I don't trust doctors.

But, I know nurses who now test positive for TB, after years of poke tests.

I was required to have TB test. I submitted an exemption form & went for a blood draw for Quantiferon-Gold TB testing. Can save cost by going thru your County Health Dept Immunization Clinics, very little blood is needed.
