I don't know, but it sounds like a good idea. All I know is that you have to make him stay in bed and rest, you have to not let him scratch, use something that will help him with the itch, some powder... Guest guest Posted December 5, 2002 Report Share Posted December 5, 2002 Epsom salt baths will help keep the pox from becoming infected. When my son got it in June, the doctor put him on Acyclovir...something many DAN doctors use for the other viruses. Once he took it he didn't get any more pox, and he was much calmer than normal.
