Guest guest
Hi there,My friend has a son like mine, ADHD, aged 4. She is interested in doing some natural things for him. Her daughter is on ADD meds, and it's not so much the ADD but I guess the H component that is causing problems for her little guy.... since he cannot sit still in school etc. He is in speech and starting OT for SPD soon.Anyway, both her husband and her are currently out of work. The kids have the state insurance I guess. So I am trying to point her to something that Medicaid might cover that is not just ADD meds. She already has her son on casein free, soy free, corn free, oat free, but they still have wheat.I suggested enzymes b/c 30$/month might be all they could swing?Any suggestions to help her out?? Does Medicaid cover anti-virals if she can get a doctor to test and treat any wonky viruses he's got going on? Thanks, and feel free to email me privately if you like! :-)-- Toni------Mind like a steel trap...Rusty and illegal in 37 states.
Guest guest
The Medicaid program in Kansas covers all the meds we have needed. Sometimes the doc has to write that it is important,or prove that we need it. Tammy F. Hi there, My friend has a son like mine, ADHD, aged 4. She is interested in doing some natural things for him. Guest guest
Perhaps she can find an environmental doc or a functional medicine doc who accepts Medicaid or state insurance? Guest guest
Yup! I mentioned these too :-) Glad I am getting most of these. :-)I also offered some play date time so we can get our two little ones together for some social back and forth :-)We still haven't tried mb12 injections here, maybe I will try the other b12 forms (adeno? hydroxy? in nasal spray first!?)
