we recently added some supplements (MCT oil, syntol, uva-ursi) which simultaneously improved our son's gut (much better bowel movements), but also seems to have triggered or exacerbated some tics, which is very concerning to us. Has anyone seen this? any remedies? does it fade with time? We are also seeing decreased sleep and an increase in defiant behavior. We would've expected behavioral and other improvements with improved gut/bowel movements, not such an increase in tics/stimming? ? Any help/thoughts/ advice would be much appreciated.

I saw Dr Yurkovsky about 2 yrs ago for about 9 months for my son w/ autism. We were traveloing from MA to NY every month which was difficult. We saw no improvement in that time.
