Guest guest
Just another thought -- ds did fine w/ oral EDTA when it was bundled in his biofilm protocal but we added EDTA to a DMPS once in 2008 and lost language. We added a lot of antioxidents and recovered the language within a week but that was a big caution flag for us and EDTA, has to do w sulfur as I recall. Please disccuss w your DAN. > > Hi Listmates, > > The results of my son's provoke test came back with mild amount of mercury but high amounts of lead. I have my son doing the AC protocol with ALA only. His DAN! wants to add DMSA to chelate for lead. My question: Should we do one high dose of DMSA once a week or the 3 days on, 11 days off protocol with weekend rounds? My DAN! wants to focus on mainly chelating lead. > > Please help us. Guest guest
Karla, My daughter was chelated for lead at age 3. We used DMSA 200 mg suppositories every other day which really worked well for her, pulled large amounts of lead on her monthly urine tests. We did this for threee weeks of the month, then one week off. I underdstand, the suppositories cause less problems with yeast overgrowth than the oral form does. We did follow a strict yeast diet and used Therbiotic and S. boulardii daily. She did great. I was able to insert the supp. when she was sleepig and she never woke up, that was nice and easy. Our local compounding pharmacy did the supp. for us. Once her lead level was down (and during each round of chelation), her eye contact, sleep and most especially language improved. And just because the challenge didn't show mercury at this point that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't present. DMSA pulls lead preferentially to mercury. You first have to get the lead out, then the DMSA will chelate mercury if it is present. Hope this helps. > > EDTA would be the best one to look into\ > high level of lead > > > > Hi Listmates, > > The results of my son's provoke test came back with mild amount of mercury but high amounts of lead. Guest guest
Yeah, I agree. We used oral EDTA. After the first dose, that night I put him to bed, and after an hour he was drenched with sweat (never happened before). The next morning we had more spontaneous speech. To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Tue, January 12, 2010 6:30:58 PMSubject: Re: high level of lead EDTA would be the best one to look into\ high level of lead Hi Listmates, The results of my son's provoke test came back with mild amount of mercury but high amounts of lead.
