Guest guest
wondering if anyone knows whether NGS (Nat Gov Services- our new FI) requires that the therapy minutes documented in the chart for acute rehab units must list start and end times or just the total # of minutes. CMS doesn't go into that level of detail, but not sure what NGS's take is. any info appreciated on this topic. Guest guest
I don't have an answer for your question but wondering how IRF's are calculating the number of units for therapy services. Is the outpatient rule being followed (rounding up or down) for charges? Example-- how many units for 52 minutes? for 20 minutes? etc. Lori Stoddart, OTR Inpatient Therapy Manager Physical Rehabilitation Services Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital 23333 Biddle Avenue Wyandotte, MI 48192 734/246-8963 lstodda1@...
