Guest guest
IS there any specific intervention done for kids who are ADD....my son has trouble sustaining attention in class. Wonder if anyone has done something (biomed) that seemed to work on distractability or sustaining attention....Subject: Re: ADHD HELPTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Thursday, January 14, 2010, 5:14 PM My son is not fully on the autistic spectrum, he would probably receive an adhd dx at times and an autism dx at other times. Anyway, as far as the adhd, you should DEFINITELY go the biomed route. There are so many things that can be done for adhd. The things that have helped my child the most are the methyl B12 shots and also getting his PANDAS under control... When we miss his b12 shot he totally loses focus. > > > > Good Morning Everyone, > > > > I know this group is for autism, but yesterday my 9 year old was diagnosed with ADHD/but more ADD. My 2 year old has autism and is doing great on biomedical treatments. My DAN prescribed pills for my 9 year olds ADHD, when I thought we were going to do the whole supplements thing and testing. I was shocked, and am having a very difficult time dealing with the fact meds will be apart of daily life. Is their anyone on here that has a child with ADHD also and is going the biomedical way instead? I have to make sure I am doing everything I can for my child. Is this the only answer??? Please help me!!!!!!! > > >
