Guest guest
Pat, It's not uncommon to have no appetite. I didn't get hungry for three weeks post-op! It was the strangest feeling! About the pain part, I'm not sure. I was very sore from the gas pains and just worn out in general (which sometimes seemed worse than in pain) for about 5-7 days post-op. Maybe someone else can add their two cents on that one. Hope you're feeling better tomorrow! post-op
Guest guest
Pat-- I didn't have any appetite after surgery either. I don't remember any real pain, but there were times when I felt tired the first few weeks. It will pass as time goes one. After all, you' ve just had major surgery. I''m sorry I missed you at the hospital Thu, but I'm really glad that you went home. You're on your way now. Welcome to the other side. Guest guest
My bruise seems much darker this afternoon. I tried to eat a little vanilla pudding this afternoon and haven't felt well since. I was thinking Dumping Syndrome I hope I haven't messed anything up Re: Angel Report >From: KMusolino@... > >Pat-- > >I didn't have any appetite after surgery either. Guest guest
Don't worry about the appetite - I had the same thing and it worried me until it dawned on me that my diminished desire for food made me normal! Normal people do not want to eat eat everything in sight 4 times a day; they occasionally get hungry, but hunger is not the sensation that dominates their lives like it dominated us before surgery. Keep up the good work. Dave from Michigan
