As far as question 1, TechPro is in the process of designing an online ECA and

online EMT-B course which will hopefully launch this fall if approved by TDH.

I have 2 questions that perhaps someone can help with.

1) Does there exist any Internet based EMT course (of course skills would

come from some adjunct) or is there a quick EMT curriculum somewhere were

one could complete the requirements in a few weekends, etc.?

2) Is anyone training teenagers in EMS, even though they cannot be certified

until 18? I remember a big push in the inner city environment a few years.

Question 2: The program I was affiliated with no longer allows those younger

than 18yoa to participate. They cite the affiliation agreements with the

hospitals and EMS providers stipulating that only those who have reached

majority can attend clinicals at their sites.
