billing medicare for 2 different PT clinics in 1 month

I have a medicare patient with an injury for which he was fitted by a PT for

a walking boot, yesterday.

That PT at the Orthopedic surgeons office told the patient that Medicare

would not pay for services provided by 2 different PT clinics in the same

month.

Has anyone ever heard of this.

I am private practice and the other PT is hospital based clinic.

If this is true, can someone direct me to where this would be stated.
