Student Posts to PTManager

PTManager members

We have had a huge increase in membership on PTManager in the past 6 weeks

[apparently as the new university semester has begun]. As you know, all

post to PTManager are moderated and require approval before they go out to

the entire list membership.

In the last several weeks, there has been a significant trend of PT students

attempting to post general questions to the list for " feedback " from the

group. PTManager is not a place for students to " do their homework " . It

has been our practice in the past to recommend to the students that they

have these discussions with their faculty rather than on PTManager. This

practice will continue going forward in an effort to reduce the number of

postings to the list to a manageable number for the members.

Additionally, there seems to have been some university program instructors

who have made posting to PTManager an assignment for their entire class.

This will not be allowed. These posts will be rejected by the moderators.

If there are any concerns about these issues, please feel free to contact me

off list [please don't bog the list down with this issue anymore than it

already has]

BTW, just a reminder that all posts to PTManager require a name, discipline

and location for consideration of approval.
