Guest guest
<<HomeHlthProspaymt.url>> - Under consolidated billing, the HH agency is responsible for providing PT/OT/SLP services to any patient being seen under a HH POC. The attached link takes you to a pamphlet that Medicare published in their Medicare Learning Network. You will see that it clearly indicates that the HH agency must bill for PT services provided within the 60-day HH episode. So...even if you are not duplicating services that the HH agency is providing, they are still the only entity that can bill for PT services while their episode of care is open. You will not be able to collect from Medicare while a HH agency still has an open claim - you would have to contract with the HH agency and receive payment from them. I hope this helps to answer your question.
